Well, it certainly sounds like the app at fault, but it could be
some rogue problem with RAM. Try rebooting & see if that helps. If not, try
taking out one RAM stick at a time - it's even possible that a very
slightly bad battery can do this - it's happened to me before on a 7600.
Just out of interest - you mentioned it's a fresh install of 9.1 -
have you cut the extension set back to a minimum? While some have had no
problems, Quicktime extensions have given me major grief in a server
environment - try cutting back to the minimum network extensions if you
haven't already.
I don't remember if you mentioned the SIMS version you're using -
1.8b8 or later?
