Running peer-to-peer, with PCMacLAN loaded on the PCs for file sharing. Protocols loaded include NetBEUI, TCP/IP, NDIS (PCMacLAN), AppleTalk. The SIMS box is a Bondi with 192MB running 8.6. I have moved some apps off this box in hopes that it would lighten the load. The only apps that are loaded up are web sharing, SIMS and WWWStat4Mac. I moved Macjordomo to our other Bondi hoping that this would help resolve the problem. The machine (the SIMS box) continues to freeze up. But it's the ONLY one on our network that's doing this. I put up the Communigator SMTP and POP monitors to keep an eye on it in case it froze while receiving or making a connection. The first time this afternoon that it crashed, it was attempting to make a connection from a business here in town and froze. The next time, it just froze out of the blue. I'm at a loss here. Any suggestions? I don't want to have to scrap the mail server, because I really like SIMS. I am quite sure that there is a large possibility that I could have something misconfigured or something, but I just don't get why it keeps crashing. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
