I know that I posted another thread, but I REALLY need help fast, if someone
can give me some input to try.

Our SIMS box is continually freezing up.

Every time it does, it seems like there's either an error in the SMTP or POP
monitor window, or both.

I didn't get the chance to look at what the error said this very last time,
but it just locked up again and a staff person told me it had. I asked what
the error said when she said she had looked at the on-screen Communigator
monitors and she said it didn't have a specific error. It just said there
was an error in the SMTP and POP connections. (this was onscreen apparently
when it froze up).

The thing I can't seem to figure out is that this is the ONLY box that seems
to be displaying this problem on our network.

I have another Bondi that I wanted to run SIMS on, but for some reason, when
I talked to the net admin with the ISP we use for name service who
configured our router, he told me that when he forwarded the POP and SMTP
ports from the router to this particular Bondi that he couldn't get it to
respond.

This was REALLY weird to me, since that machine can be accessed by IP
through a web browser on our LAN side if I turned web sharing on.

SO, with that Off Topic done, I am at a LOSS.

Can someone please help?

Thanks so much for your patience, all.

I am a newbie to SIMS.
