The sending host (spammer) immediately dropped the connection to SIMS when it saw the 5xx reply code on the RCPT TO command. By that time not all of the data in the send buffer has been sent out (e.g. the "Please see http://relays.osirusoft.com/"; part might be still in the buffer) and OpenTransport had a hard time aborting that send operation. This may happen if the either end of a connection is slow... > Any workaround? No. Though you may want to try updating OpenTransport (if it's not the latest.)
