'Reading failed' is SIMS' relatively generic way of saying that Something
Bad happened to a connection while it was receiving or waiting for data
from a remote host. I don't know off the top of my head what 'Error
Code=-39' means, but the fact that this happens only with messages that
have attachments together with the bounce message from the skynet.be
server(s) would seem to imply that some sort of time out is occurring with
larger messages. You might try doing a traceroute between your server and
the skynet.be server(s) to see if there might be a flaky link somewhere in
the route. Actually, since this happens with messages being sent _to_ you,
it would probably be more valuable to do traceroutes in that direction
(from skynet.be to you).

Is everyone this happens with using the same mail client? This one has come
up on the list quite a bit in the past (I've experienced it on my SIMS
server), and it's pretty innocuous. It simply indicates that the client
dropped the connection without saying it's final goodbyes (i.e., it didn't
send a 'QUIT' command to close the POP session). As soon as SIMS notices
that the connection has dropped, it closes it on its end and logs the
event. It doesn't hurt anything and can safely be ignored.
