I need to ask a question about how SIMS handles this type of encoding and another that is off-topic, but did not know where else to ask it.
The reason I ask is that we have a few users who apparently had difficulties opening a message that we sent out from our organization that was created in Netscape Messenger along with images, styled text and tables. The message source says that the encoding type was multipart/alternative. The message came through just fine to my mailbox, so I guess my first thought was perhaps it was something that his mail server was doing to the message in the relay. But I also have another question about this type of encoding, that is slightly off-topic, but I am unsure as to where to ask it, so please forgive me. I need to know if there is a way to send out this type of encoding (multipart/alternative) or another type of encoding that would support a range of html commands so that we could create an electronic newsletter that would include several <div> tags to allow for more control over object placement on the page. I am fairly new to this, but have access to a good editor that can generate the code and layout for me, if I can some way get that html into a message and then send it. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. Chris ############################################################# This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>.
