Here's the SIMS log for this problem. Note that
while one 250 and one 452 response are received,
two 452 responses are reported, and SIMS drops
the connection without attempting to send anything.
I've edited the domain and user names to protect the innocent,
but left in the recipient domain (taconic.net) and the MTA software
name (MessageWall). Also wrapped a few long lines, leaving blanks
at the front of the continuation line.
FWIW, MessageWall's web site does note that their handling of
the 452/only one message situation is not RFC compliant. Even
so, SIMS also seems to be doing something strange (maybe) and
not helpful (for sure) relative to other MTAs.
