What does it mean when an e-mail has a header line like
Received: from [210.165.115.202] (HELO 16.24.29.23) by desuetude.com (Stalker SMTP Server 1.7)?
Is the first address the actual IP address of the sending server?
Yes. SIMS will use the IP address of the actual connection and the 'HELO $IP' in parentheses when the HELO argument does not resolve to the connecting IP address.
The other meaning of that header is that you are running an outdated version of SIMS.
