Open-source software is, as far as I can see anyhow, a well-respected thing, so it seems a shame to keep the code locked away, and let problems in SIMS remain forever unfixed. That apps that are allowed to go stagnant like this is a shame really. I hope you can rethink this issue, for the sake of the SIMS-using community.

While SIMS is not CGP, there was, at least at some point, some linkage betweent he wo products. There may well be code in SIMS that is duplicated in some way in CGP. releasing that code could be problematical.
Who is going to vette the SIMS code before releasing it? Who has the time? Is Stalker willing to spend the money/Resources?
