I've adapted Alex Wetmore's stripmime script for use with SIMS and Macjordomo, running under MacPerl.
This allows for the automatic stripping of attachments and some simplistic
HTML -> plaintext conversions of incoming mailing list messages before
they are redistributed.
It's come in quite handy with the mailing lists we run on our server.
If you'd like to take a look at it, get it from http://redbomb.com/stripmime/stripmime-sims.txt
Some brief setup instructions (SIMS account creation, SIMS Router configuration) are in the comments at the top of the script.
Incoming messages are directed to a folder where they are processed by this script and resubmitted to SIMS for delivery to their original destination.
I saved it as a MacPerl droplet application and put it in my Startup Items
folder.
Hope somebody else finds this useful!
