Ok, this is wierd. Or my syntax is fubar.

My router has:

><[EMAIL PROTECTED]> =<LOCAL>test.info
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> = <LOCAL>billc

; etc, etc

<info> = info.other ; this is intended to catch mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] that doesn't have specific routing above.

where
        test.info
        billc
        info.other

are real accounts.

Mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] ends up in the info.other account. What gives?

Dunno. Try turning Router logging up to the max and I think the log will help you find out. Each routing decision will be spelled out in detail.

Well, you learn something every day. I didn't realize I could adjust the log settings in the Routing pane and have it recorded. Duh.

Ok, so here's what I see:

; this is the outgoing message
23:20:27 5 ROUTER Parser: billc_lists -> billc_lists()
23:20:27 5 ROUTER Input: info(greenbuilder.com)
23:20:27 5 ROUTER Parser: [EMAIL PROTECTED] -> info(greenbuilder.com)
23:20:27 5 ROUTER Input: info()
23:20:27 5 ROUTER Parser: info -> info()
23:20:28 4 ROUTER aliased to info.other
23:20:28 5 ROUTER Input: info.other()
23:20:28 5 ROUTER Parser: info.other -> info.other()

; this is the incoming.
23:20:28 5 ROUTER Parser: [EMAIL PROTECTED] -> info(greenbuilder.com)
23:20:28 5 ROUTER Input: info()
23:20:28 5 ROUTER Parser: info -> info()
23:20:28 4 ROUTER aliased to info.other
23:20:28 5 ROUTER Input: info.other()
23:20:28 5 ROUTER Parser: info.other -> info.other()
23:20:28 2 SYSTEM [S.0003529771] <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 0+1 From:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
23:20:28 2 SYSTEM(POP) [S.0003529771] delivered to (info.other)

So it looks like both the incoming and outgoing are parsing info into info.other. I can't figure out how to get it to recognize that <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> = test.info line. I'm not aware of any other routing that isn't working properly.

Also, I don't think you need the <LOCAL> in
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> =<LOCAL>test.info

I route lots of stuff to local accounts without the <LOCAL> and it works fine.

Yeah, I tried that just to be double-redundant sure when the other didn't work.
