So, if you had a brand new OS/X box dumped on your lap for a mail server, what would you do?

Well, given that SIMS is definitely near if not at the end of it's development cycle, if the need to have the new box up and running isn't immediate, I'd recommend moving on from it.

Stalker has been great providing the world with a gem such as SIMS so, if funds allow, seriously consider moving the Communigate Pro. I've been wrestling with that myself for some time but can't quite bring myself to justify the cost. At the same time, i can't quite bring myself to 'roll my own' Postfix/Qmail/Exim/Whatever solution either. Still holding out faint hope for some sort of a Communigate Lite offering from Stalker. I'd love to give them my money, just don't have enough for the Communigate license I'd need

Funds not allowing, Postfix seems a popular route to go these days although the config is much more involved.
