Is that possible with the 9500? I thought Apple didn't support anything before late G3's?

I am running OS 10.1.5 on a stock 9500. The two problems I have with it is the stock drive is a bit small (3 Gig?) and 10.1 is enough different in the administration aspect from Jaguar/Panther that I use everyday that I have to think twice about any adjustments.
The trick to getting 10.1 to run on this unsupported machine was using xpostfacto. As far as I know (I have not kept up on that area very well), that is the end of the line for that machine. Jaguar (& Panther) require at least a G3.
