That's probably the easiest way to do it (path of least resistance and
all), although doing it through DNS (with internal name server or host
file) might be more 'correct'. This is probably a case of 'whatever
works...' About the only problem you might have that I can think of is that
if you were to change the IP address of the server you'd have to remember
to change your router entry accordingly. But then, if you were doing it
with an internal name server or host file, you'd have to update those too.
