But the host file may work. I know very little about host files. Does the system (OS9) look in the host file for MX records?
Oops, my bad. Just had a go on a Mac running OS 9 to check and it turns out that hosts files under OS 9 don't support MX records. Sorry about that George, I thought it did, but then again when I was setting SIMS up here I was always using a private DNS server either on the SIMS Mac itself or on an NT box.
