I came across this article recently: http://www.nwc.navy.mil/newrulesets/ThePentagonsNewMap.htm It lays out the long-term strategy of the pentagon concerning the 'war on terrorism'. I personally disagree with allot of the assumptions of the analysis, as well as the assumed direction the author thinks the world will take. The point of my posting it, though, is to give view into the picture the pentagon is tiring to paint of the world, and the US place in it.
