Saputnik Film is pleased to announce that we have completed our first work, the documentary film “A Minority Report: Kosovo Minorities, Eight Years After”. The documentary is the result of more than a year of research, interviews and shooting in the UN administered province of Kosovo.
Kosovo is run by the United Nations since the end of the 1999 war against Milosevic’s Yugoslavia. In the last months, the region has gained a prominent place in the international media as the negotiations over its future status are coming close to an end. In the coming months, Kosovo will be again on the front pages as it will be almost certainly the newest country in Europe. “A Minority Report: Kosovo Minorities, Eight Years After” touches upon some of the core issues related to the period since the establishment of the United Nations Mission in Kosovo. The SAPUTNIK FILM offer includes a festival version (72’) and a shorter TV version (52’) of the documentary, which is in a postproduction phase to be concluded in mid March 2007.
