[Sip-implementors] whats the use of "Hide" Header?

Hi,       I want to know the use of "Hide" Header. I can understand that it is used to hide the via header field values from subsequent proxies by using some form of encryption. But whats the advantage of hiding it?   Regards, Ravikumar Eswaran.
