Generally, people are (and should) follow this bis. However, it requires
some amount of attention to the list, since there are a few things in bis-02
that we have since agreed NOT to actually do (like Also). There are many
important fixes specified in bis (mandatory contact, RR in reverse
direction, spirals) that are really important to get done. Unfortunately,
since bis is work in progress, there will always be things that change.
However, since things are generally backwards compatible, these should not
cause big headaches in deployments.

Another bis is coming out. I am at fault for letting this slide. Expect it
