Please forgive me if this question seems too silly. But it is of vital importance for me. This is w.r.t. draft-2543bis, section 1.4.2; para 4. It says that: "Clients MUST re-run the above selection algorithm, re-drawing any random numbers involved, once per transaction rather than for each request, i.e. ..."
My question is: Which selection algorithm is this sentence referring to? Is it: a) Selection between sending the request to: - the outbound proxy server and - the (protocol,port,IP-address) referred to by the Request-URI; OR b) Selecting one out of multiple DNS-SRV retrieved records for the Request-URI; all having same priority and weight?
