[Sip-implementors] what popular interface between location server and proxy server?

Everyone,    I know there are no standard for interface between location server and proxy server.    But are there any recommanded interface for the location server with other sip server such as proxy server? In the database communication side, the interface could be LDAP, JDBC, static text.. The netwoek side that communicate with other sip component, which protocol or which interface are most popular? is there anyone can give me some advice?   Sincerely, Roland Zheng
