        I think C# can very useful for an ua-oriented sip stack. The stack can
be 'compiled' in several platforms while the gui (if any) would be more
specific to the operation system and coded in almost any language
(better integration with the target desktop). I'm trying to develop a
small ua (http://sua.sourceforge.net) for linux in qt/kde and after some
work i realize that it has strong portability problems (totally
unportable,...uh). I'm now reading something about the state of .Net in
linux (mono project) but it seems is still in a very preliminary status
:(

        Anyway, i don't like java very much.
