Hi,
Following query is the out of scope of this list's discussion.
Can anybody please answer my below query.
I have the latest JAIN SIP API specification 1.0.
Does these specification compliant with rfc2543bis-05/09.
If yes, is the API layer is just above the transaction layer,
I mean between TU and transaction layer or just above TU.
Also it seems that sendBye() and sendAck() APIs given in SIPProvider
interface
are no more useful if we consider rfc2543bis-05/09. I think these APIs
should be deprecated.
Becaz these APIs expect a transaction ID based on which implementation of
SIPProvider
will find an existing transaction and auto generate the BYE/ACK to send out.
But a rfc2543bis-05/09 compliant implementation will never find any
transaction as transaction already terminated once transaction layer gets a
200 OK.
Thanks in advance.
