In a UA -> proxy ->
gateway scenario
An user agent is
making an outbound call through a gateway, the UA does not know it's own
telephone number, is there a way for the proxy to add that number in a header
field, could the Reply-To header be used?
When the UA has request
privacy, what information should the gateway send in the ANUMBER in the IAM ISUP
message? For what I understand of ISUP the ANUMBER is mandatory and then
you set a certain bit that says that this number should not be displayed to the
receiver. This is because i.e. police should be able to see which number that
made the emergency call. Which header field is then used to pass along the
telephone number?
Also, is there a replacement for draft-ietf-sip-isup-01.txt? it seems to
have expired?
