Hi,

You are right, the setting of the connection address to 0.0.0.0 is no 
longer recommended.  Instead, a two way media stream should be set to 
sendonly, or a one way media stream should be set to inactive for 
hold.  This is done using the a=sendonly SDP attribute for a two way media 
stream.

The incrementing of the version in the o= field is not specific to call 
hold - this is done every time a UA makes a change to the SDP.  This could 
be due to call hold, or it could be due to changing codecs, IP address, etc.
