Also one more way, as mentioned in one of drafts , to put call on hold, is to set media attrtibute parameter to 'inactive', i.e.

a = inactive

Which one is the correct way of puting call on hold ?

Subject: [Sip-implementors] Question about hold call...

Hi!

 In the RFC 3264 described, it is not recommended to
set connection adress as 0.0.0.0 for hold call.
 In the draft "draft-ietf-sipping-service-examples-02.txt",
it is to increment the the version value in the o= field of the SDP for hold call.

 How much value should be incremented at the version value?
 Is there a clear document described the detail implement issues?

 Thanks!
