Hi Badri Usually the latest registration will be contacted first if any call comes for the UA. Now as per your scenario, UA has 2 sets of contacts of which C3&C4 is the latest.
so say UA1 calls UA, then server first contacts C3&C4 and if no response, then it contacts C1&C2. Hi: Consider the following scenario.. A UA regsiters its To addr <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> with contact address C1 <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> & C2 <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> It gets a 200 OK for this registration from the Registrar. It then sends another Registration for the same To addr with 2 different contacts C3 & C4. Now when the second registration suceeds, what will be the binding state @ the Registrar.? will it be C1,C2,C3, C4 for the AOR in the To or will it be C3 , C4..? will the second set of contacts be added to the first or overwritten..? thanks in advance..
