Hi Rahul, This entity is required where some entity in the middle of the network requires to control a call more closely (signalling wise) than can be done by a proxy. It is used primarily to achieve the 3PCC feature, and you can refer to the drafts which are on this topic. As the name suggests it is just two UAs (an UAC and an UAC) glued back to back and connected on the application (SIP user) layer.
