Dear Implementors, If a SIP UA sends a message to a stateless proxy using TCP, and the proxy forwards to the destination UA with UDP, and the message gets lost on the UDP path, who sets the message retransmission timer to resend the message?
I'd guess it's not in the stateless proxy, so it would have to be in the originating UA, but RFC3261 speaks to these timers only for UDP transport.
