If it is behaving as a UAC, there is no point in adding RR (since the call always ends there).

Its of more senseful only in case of SIP entities acting as routers between UAC & UAS......

Subject: [Sip-implementors] Can a B2BUA insert Record-Route header?

Dear all:

Can a B2BUA (when acting as a UAC) insert a Record-Route header when it initiates an INVITE?  I know it’s not normal, but I also don’t see RFC3261 forbidding it.  Would it cause problems at all?

Thanks very much in advance,

Patrick
