I didn't mean to imply that everybody uses, should use, or should rely
on 101--indeed RFC 2833 requires a _dynamic_ PT. I was just guessing, as
an aside, where that particular PT came from.

It seems like Cisco was the first to use 101 as the dynamic PT for 
RFC2833 a few years ago. Other companies probably just followed their 
lead.
