Hi,

I have a doubt regarding challenging privacy
subscribers, who can be expected to use anonymous From
headers in their requests.

What is the expected behavior on the proxy and the UA
sides?

Proxy Side:
Does the proxy challenge the user with a single server
wide realm? Challenging the user with a single server
wide realm, will require all the subscribers to be
part of the same realm. Now if the proxy supports say
'N' different realms, does it have to challenge the
user with all the N supported realms? The UA then
selects the realm he is interested in.

UA Side:
At the UA side, is it mandatory for a UA to provide
credentials matching any one of the realms specified
in the challenge? Is it fine if the UA sends the
credentials for a realm that was NOT specified in any
of the challenges?

Thanks,
Channa.
