If the caller receives two 2xx, it means that the called user accepts the two
call so the Caller's UA must mix the audio packets in order to hear the called
UAs.

But generally there is no sense that a called user accepts two calls because
he answers with only one UA... Of course we can imagine that another people
answer for him at the office when he is outside...

Moreover one UA can be in conference with two or more others UAs with each
time a different user... It 's the job of the UA to mix the audio packets in
order to provide for the user the conversation ...

OK, but according to RFC 3261 13.2.2, the UAC core must generate an ACK for
each 2xx received from transaction layer. If a single user is registered with
two UAs, can he accept simultaneously two calls from the same caller?? Because
it's in this situation when a UAS replies with 2xx responses...

  Thanks again....

It s possible when a single user is registered with two UAs. The INVITE
arrives at a proxy which forwards the message towards the two UAs registered in
the location server. So, there are two 2xx responses. It s the reason why the
dialog is identified with the Call ID, the from and To headers and not only
with the from and To headers.

    Hi all,

Due to forking proxies, it would be possible many 2xx responses arrive at a
UAC for a single Invite.. Doest it make sense?? In which real situations
would be that possible?

Thanks in advance
