Hi Folks, Here is the situation:
I need to use a policy format that guides the distribution of a particular 'object' in a new Event that we are defining. The relationship is as follows: a) A SIP UA can own n 'objects' which the Event Server (ES) will maintain and distribute to the subscribers of the objects b) Each 'object' SHOULD have one policy rule associated with it c) It is guaranteed that each 'object' has a unique global identifier (call it oGID) The schema defined in geopriv-common-policy-06 suits our needs perfectly - I needed a clarification on a particular usage I am considering: I am considering equating the 'rule id' to the oGID. In other words, each time a policy document is uploaded, it will contain a rule id = the object id for which the rule applies. This way, the event server can correlate to which 'object' this rule associates to without having to create another attribute. I assume this is permissible ? regds arjun -- Arjun Roychowdhury _______________________________________________ Sip-implementors mailing list [email protected] https://lists.cs.columbia.edu/cucslists/listinfo/sip-implementors
