Hi everybody, I have found following question asked number of times but I could not found the answer. I would appreciate if somebody shed some light on this subject, like if there is undergoing standardization of this matter or any widely accepted solution.
Since each codec has different support for packetization interval (ptime) and SDP can specify multiple coders there is a need for specifying multiple ptime attributes. However, so far I have not seen anybody using multiple ptime attribute in one SDP. I saw suggestions that something like: m=audio 10000 RTP/AVP 0 8 a=rtpmap: 0 PCMU/8000 a=ptime:20 a=rtpmap: 8 PCMA/8000 a=ptime:30 , could be used but no RFC describes it and I have not seen it in practice. Thank you, Nenad _________________________________________________________________ Movies, Music & More!
