Unless I'm not wrong here 200OK and ACK can pariticipate in a negotiaton,
then you simply can't deduct if it's an offer or an answer by just looking
at one message, you have to keep track of it. But again, it's all in the
RFC....

Ämne: [Sip-implementors] How UAC can Identify 2xx for INVITE contains an
Offer or Answer?

Hi all,

Scenario is below,

UAC is sending an INVITE with Content-Disposition Header with value
session and handling parameter 'optional' and with Content-language
header also.

At UAS, if the language specified in Content-language is not supported
and also handling parameter of Content-Disposition is 'optional', it
won't consider the messaged body in INVITE as an offer and it will
include the initial offer in the first 2xx response.
If UAS supports the language then it will send the answer in first 2xx
response.

How UAC will identify whether the message body in 2xx reponse is an
answer or an initial offer?
