Hi,
/*
If the domain of the Request-URI indicates a domain this element is
not responsible for,
the Request-URI MUST be placed into the target set as the only
target, and the
element MUST proceed to the task of Request Forwarding (Section 16.6).
*/
Whats meant under domain ?
Like request-URI may have IP address too in host part of uri.
For example: sip:[EMAIL PROTECTED] or [EMAIL PROTECTED]
How this check is done in real-world ?
Also is in real-life does implementations do RFC 3261 16.4 "6.
Proxy-Authorization" before Determining Request Targets as in RFC.
I think doing "6. Proxy-Authorization" in "Determining Request Targets"
is right place, because you know in that place if proxy is responsible
for the domain in the Request-URI.
Thanks,
