Mutliple ways to do it :
1. Select the first codec in the list (you have to be prepared to receive any
of the common codecs listed in the offer and answer, on the fly),
2. Based on your business logic, select the optimum one out, say G729 (you have
to be prepared to receive any of the common codecs listed in the offer and
answer, on the fly),
3. Use codec locking mentioned in rfc3264.txt (Section 10.2 - One of N codec
selection). e.g. lock the codec to the type received in the first RTP packet
received from the other side.

Subject: [Sip-implementors] REG: query related to sdp

Hi All,

We are having a query related to sdp . We are establishing a call
between two clients. If they are exchanging more than one common codec,
based on what criteria will they select which codec to use.

Thanks & Regards
