Hi

We have a UA that registers to our SIP registrar that itself does a
"third-party registration" to an Application Server (AS).

Once the UA is registered and the AS informed of the registration, we want
the AS to be able to de-register the UA, on-demand (eg. the AS detected
something wrong with this UA and wants to de-register it).

What solutions are commonly used for that purpose ?
Shall the AS communicate directly to the UA ?
Or the UA subscribe to "Event Package for Registrations" (RFC 3680) and
somehow the AS requests the registrar to terminate the registration ?

BTW, we use OpenSER as the proxy/registrar in front of our AS. If you have
any specific recommendations to OpenSER, please feel free to share them with
me.

Regards,
Pascal
