Thats normal! The moment you send the 200 OK you must be prepared to receive the
media.

The behavior of sending RTP data on receipt of 200 OK response is normal.
Once the final answer is sent, the offer-answer media negotiation is complete.
Therefore RTP listening port can be opened just after sending final success
response (200 OK) and on the other side RTP data can be sent right after
receiving the final success response.

Subject: [Sip-implementors] When to open RTP listen port

Hi,

I am facing a problem that when I send a 200 OK, a remote UA immediately
starts sending RTP after sending the ACK before my device has yet managed to
opened that port.

The result is that my device sends an ICMP for the first two received RTP
packets.

Is this behavior normal or should I not wait for the ACK but open the RTP
listen port as soon as I send the 200 OK?

Best Regards,
Elison
