Why TCP connect time should be included in transaction time. The time
when you sent the message OUT transaction time starts. The 32sec is just
for SIP transaction and not inclusive of TCP connection time.

Subject: [Sip-implementors] TCP timeout

Hi All,

In SIP the transaction timeout value is 32sec. In case of TCP we can
create connection per transaction. So does this 32sec include the time
to establish the connection? If yes then TCP can take a max of
120sec(default) to establish the connection. Then isnt the timeout timer
value very less?

Regards,
Soma
