Hi, The table present in Section 19.1.2 of RFC 3261 states the following:

Contact dialog Contact/ R-R/Route external port 1 o - - o o o It has also been mentioned in this Section that "Entries marked "m" are mandatory, those marked "o" are optional, and those marked "-" are not allowed." Does this mean port number must not be present in the From and To headers? The grammar for From and To headers permits the presence of port number in the From / To URIs. Kindly clarify. Thank You.
