Response code of 202 does not indicate that your subscription to a particular event package has been accepted.
Quote from 3265: A 202 response merely indicates that the subscription has been understood, and that authorization may or may not have been granted. > So next time when i need to SUBSCRIBE i should take care of that time > given in 2xx response from server and after that period of time i need to SUBSCRIBE again. The "Expires" header in a 200-class response to SUBSCRIBE indicates the actual duration for which the subscription will remain active (unless refreshed). Subscription should be refreshed *BEFORE* the expiry time. Generally, it is seconds in Expires header divided by 2. It is implementation dependent though. It can be any time before expiry. Best, Amith ----- Original Message ----- From: rishabh Thanks for reply but would like to ask, So like in the message we need to start the SUBSCRIPTION timer on the basis of 2XX response from the server... So next time when i need to SUBSCRIBE i should take care of that time given in 2xx response from server and after that period of time i need to SUBSCRIBE again.
