Hi,
One of our UA's creates the FROM URI in its outbound INVITE as follows:
1. If an outbound proxy is configured, puts the proxy's FQDN/ip in the
hostname of From URI.
2. If no outbound proxy is configured, puts its OWN ip/FQDN in
hostname of From URI.

Is this behavior correct? Also, should the UAC who finally receives
the request through the outbound proxy bother about the hostname part
of the FROM URI?

I could not find anything in RFC3261 specific to this.

Regards,
Arun
