In section 13.2.2.4 2xx Responses of RFC3261
The ACK MUST contain the same credentials as the INVITE.

UAC                           UAS

1.INVITE ------------>
2.          <------------407-INVITE
3.ACK--------------->

Do i have to check credentials in the ACK message sent in the step 3
with that of INVITE request sent in step1?

No, the recipient of the ACK does not have to check this requirement. The
purpose of the requirement is to ensure that the ACK is not blocked by a lack
of credentials (because no downstream element can give a 401/407 response to
the ACK to request credentials). But the recipient of the ACK does not need to
check that it has the same credentials as the INVITE, and it probably should
not check this requirement (in order to provide somewhat more robust operation
if the sender does not follow the requirement).
