I believe that in this case it is symmetric RTP, because the same local port is used for sending and receiving.
In my case RTP packets travel from siemens_ip:2148 ---> remote_proxy_ip:13524 and siemens_ip:2148 <-- remove_proxy_ip:13524 And looking at the SDP signalling it should be like this: siemens_ip:19100 ---> remote_proxy_ip:13524 and siemens_ip:19100 <-- remove_proxy_ip:13524 2010/5/27 Pandurangan R S <[email protected]> > Maybe the other endpoint is doing asymmetric RTP > > http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc4961.txt > > _______________________________________________ Sip-implementors mailing list [email protected] https://lists.cs.columbia.edu/cucslists/listinfo/sip-implementors
