Hi,
I have a question. I need to know the answer from the stand point of UA.
In case SIP Proxy has multiple NIC Cards and SIP Proxy has flexibility
to choose any one of it anytime during the call to send SIP messages,
then, what is the correct behavior that UA must follow?
I found the following behavior on my UA. Is it correct? Or what must be
the best way to handle this situation.
UA: SIP Proxy is configured (FQDN & port)
UA -------> DNS A Record lookup
<-------- IP1, IP2, IP3,...
UA ----> REGISTER: FQDN:Port (sent to IP1) ---> Proxy
<----- 200 OK:Register (from IP1)
UA ---> INVITE: TO:ph...@fqdn:port (sent to IP1) ----> Proxy
<--200 OK: Invite (from IP2)
This 200 OK here triggers un-register with registrar on IP1 and
re-register with proxy on IP2.
UA ----> Un-REGISTER: FQDN:Port (sent to IP1) ---> Proxy
<----- 200 OK:Register
UA ----> REGISTER: FQDN:Port (sent to IP2) ---> Proxy
<----- 200 OK:Register
