Yes (in my opinion). If a B2BUA does not decrement Max-Forwards a request could end up in an endless loop. > >2. What should happen in case when Max-Forwards received by B2BUA as 0 ? > (In case of INVITE,B2BUA respond with 483 Too Many Hops But what should > happen in case of ACK??) Non-ACK requests should get 483 response. If the ACK matches a confirmed dialog, it should probably be forwarded. Somebody is doing something wrong if the INVITE had a large enough Max-Forwards value to get thru, but the ACK does not. > >Can anybody please help me resolving these queries?? > >Thanks and Regards, >Kamini >Aricent _______________________________________________ Sip-implementors mailing list [email protected] https://lists.cs.columbia.edu/cucslists/listinfo/sip-implementors
