Hi Bob, But Isn't it wrong that B2BUA sends out Request with Max-Forwards as 0 ( because 0 means that B2BUA was last entity. Shouldn't it send request with Max-Forwards as 70?? )
And if ACK received with Max-Forwards as 0, then B2BUA should forward request with what Max-Forwards Value?? (70 or 0) Thanks and Regards, Kamini ________________________________________ From: Bob Penfield [[email protected]] Sent: Thursday, June 17, 2010 11:58 PM To: Kamini Gangwani; [email protected] Subject: RE: Max-Forwards Handling for B2BUA?? inline >-----Original Message----- >From: [email protected] >[mailto:sip-implementors->[email protected]] On Behalf Of Kamini >Gangwani >Sent: Thursday, June 17, 2010 1:50 PM >To: [email protected] >Subject: [Sip-implementors] Max-Forwards Handling for B2BUA?? > >Hi All, > >I have a query regarding Max-Forwards handling in case of B2BUA. > >1. Non-ACK requests should get 483 response. If the ACK matches a confirmed dialog, it should probably be forwarded. Somebody is doing something wrong if the INVITE had a large enough Max-Forwards value to get thru, but the ACK does not. > >Can anybody please help me resolving these queries?? > >Thanks and Regards, >Kamini >Aricent "DISCLAIMER: This message is proprietary to Aricent and is intended solely for the use of the individual to whom it is addressed.
