Hi Nitin, Traces will be required to get to the clear understanding. As you are saying that call is dropped after certain Minutes then I don't think that its Timer "for ACK response in server transaction" that is Fired. This timer will get fired when your ACK has not reached the UA or UA is not able to match it with the 2XX response that it generated. This value is 32 Sec.
You can verify this if you see multiple 2XX retransmission on the Network. Do you have such implementation that if silece is detected fro quite a long time the call gets dropped? If so then this could be that reason. Then in this case you need to check your offer and answer and also see the Port value in Offer and answer. There has to be something over there. If you suspect the codec then try to change it to G711 and see if scenario works. Basically this is the IWF call, and i can see there is nothing wrong into the signaling side. While i was on the phone then there was the dead air all the time and after few minutes the call got disconnected. I saw that my source UA is offering g.729 & CN(old) with payload of 18 & 19 in initial offer. Here is what my understanding says...that after getting the ACK... MSX was waiting to get the media socket on, but unfortunately when it didn't opened, then the timer got fired and it sends the BYE to source UA. Could anyone please share there understanding and please help me to find out the root cause.. I can share the traces if its required.
